Featuring Steve Buscemi, Robert Rodrgiuez, and the late Val Kilmer and Dennis Hopper (it is his description of Danny that gave rise to the title), CHAMPION. is told through the unguarded heart of Danny Trejo and his first hand life accounts -- from childhood chaos where guns, violence and drug addiction were the norm, to a prison career successfully under way by the age of 18, to years in and out of every prison in California, including notorious San Quentin, to his eventual bold determination to break out of the cycle...which lead him to breaking into Hollywood.
